Following 6 months of rehearsals, and over 20 months of planning and organising, The Aberdeen Passion 2014: One Hope was successfully staged before audiences  of around 2000 people at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre over the 2014 Easter weekend. Initial feedback has been very positive from both Christians and non-Christians alike. We are very grateful not only to everyone who took part, but also to all who took time out of their busy Easter weekend to come along and share together as we experienced Christ’s final days before his crucifixion as portrayed by the cast and choir.

The Aberdeen Passion productions naturally focus on Easter; however God’s message from Easter is one for all year round, an ongoing reminder of the price paid so that we can stand before Him and call Him Father. We are called to be a people in whom the Spirit is continually working, even in the midst of adversity, an Easter people, where the reality of the crucifixion, and not just the empty cross, shapes not just our daily lives but our hourly lives.

So, no matter when you read this, Rejoice, the Lord is Risen, Happy Easter!
